We do a lot of sandblasting & rust repair. These crossmembers are a direct replacement, cut the old out & weld the new in. All the kits cover the common rotted areas on the truck. WIthout these Chevy owners would be in trouble.
Gotta say my frame cracked on my 98 and got this and it’s solid and it fits perfectly
When I watched the video I thought I needed to take apart the bed and lift it up. Not the case. Was able to install by just taking off the wheel! Thanks.
Repair over the axle frame..fit great and I did it with the bed on and gas tank in the truck. Do this at your own risk. 2 1/2 hours. I think I have a new business model. Thank you for producing these much needed parts

They are made well but I couldn't use. My frame is bent.
Product is well made. Fitment was correct. I did add extra slices to bend tighter. It was slighter larger than frame and adjustments were made with hammer and slitting. Larger better than smaller. Manufacturing holes correct position. I recommend Rust Busters.
Very good heavy duty product. I bought the same product elsewhere but returned it because the Rust Buster part is much more heavy duty. Simple installation, I taught myself to use the mig when installing the cross member and it turned out great.

Considering that this part needed no cutting or welding and the cost of it, it would be very nice if it was powder coated or painted.
